The Climate Summit is a collaborative forum among scientists, natural resource managers, municipal leaders, watershed organizations, and citizens concerned about the impacts of climate change in coastal NH. The Climate Summit focuses on completed climate research and actions that are relevant to the municipalities in coastal NH. It provides information on the local resources and knowledge available to support climate change adaptation and mitigation action at the municipal and state levels. This day is designed to connect people interested in climate change adaptation and mitigation in NH with each other and with new scientific and technical resources. Attendees will enjoy a day of presentations and discussion focused on local climate-related work. This annual event is brought to you by the NH Coastal Adaptation Workgroup.

The goals of the Summit are to:

  • Inform participants of recent, local climate change research and climate adaptation efforts
  • Identify needs and gaps in current climate knowledge and adaptation/mitigation efforts
  • Foster and facilitate collaboration on current and future climate work
