NH Setting SAIL – Greenland Technical Assistance

Rockingham Planning Commission (RPC) staff worked with the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and NHDES Coastal Program to present an overview of the Coastal Risk and Hazards Commission report and results from Greenland’s Climate Risk in the Seacoast (C-RiSe) vulnerability assessment at a Planning Board work session in October 2017. RPC also met with the Greenland Conservation Commission Char to identify and map potential conservation lands abutting parcels at risk of sea-level rise and storm surge. Finally, RPC worked with the Town Planning Board, Planning Consultant, and Conservation Commission Chair to develop a draft Coastal Hazards and Adaptation Master Plan Chapter for future adoption.
